Sixth of March, 1972 NL201 Shot down a MiG-17. This is my interpretation of that encounter. I realize that the Phantom typically did not have any dog fight armament and rather used it's sidewinders and sparrow missiles from a distance unlike the depiction I am presenting. Nonetheless the spirit of the exchange I hope is understood.

There  you guy. I learned a lot from these builds. This was my first group build and two of my first builds after returning to the fun after a 35 year hiatus. I enjoyed the exchange of information and humor between all of the participants. I hope to have the opportunity to participate again in the future.

Merry Christmass and Happy New Years.

Steve

Holy crap man! That really turned out freakin' fantastic! That is a sweet pairing Steve. I can see that one is going to attract a lot of attention on the display shelf. Talk about some serious competition with this GB.

Good luck picking a winner Bobby. lol

Well, just when you thought it could not get any better, it does.

Two birds for the price of one, both excellently built and painted. Major contender!

Happy Christmas Steve.

(reckon Bobby will prob have a winner by Easter [rofl] ).
