Hello,

After my small introduction, i'd like to show a build wich I'm very proud of. It's the Fujimi Porsche 917 "Martini" Le Mans 1971. My motivation for this build came from the fact the car was driving (next to Helmut Marko) by fellow Dutchman Gijs van Lennep. They set a distance-record with this car that was only broken a couple of years ago by Audi. This was my first taste of weathering. I wanted the car as it was after 24 our event. hope you like it. Btw, I used the white metal motor from Model Factory Hiro wich is very detailed.

Currently I'm working on a Tamiya 1/12 McLaren M23 with MFH Transkit to build the Worldchampionship winning M23 by James Hunt in 1976.

Some pics of the McLaren M23 (1/12) on wich I'm working now. Done the tub with all the wiring and stuff.

On the finished model there's gonna be a James Hunt helmet.

At the moment I work on the Cosworth engine, will post some pics later.

I built lots of cars way back in time but of course they never looked that REAL! excellent job all round. The first few pictures especially look really really real, as the weathering is perfect.

just looked again! wow--these cars are usually all slick and smooth--GREAT to see the very realistic weathering work. its a moment in time that you have captured. the other model? that detail is done SOOO neatly done--crisp. hard to imagine when the parts are that small and the photo is so close [like a macro image]. its got to be eye popping in  person. thanks again for sharing this work. always ready to see more!
