Going to try something I've never done before and it could go very wrong the flightpath kit comes with pe canopy covers to put on so I'm going to anneal them bend them to shape then glue fingers crossed it goes to plan as it will make the canopy look good .

So far so good annealed the pe parts and have shaped it around the front part of the canopy see below for pics next will be to glue then shape the rest of the parts for the main canopy

After some different trials with loads of glues on clear parts with pe I found that evo stick contact adhesive was the best and so far on the actual model it has not misted or moved .

that   is   awesome! what a great PE detail. I seem to have a lot of problems with the canopy part of the build and it drives me mad to work on a build for so long then the canopy flops!

Been a busy day today below is a pic of the rear fins added from the pe kit with realy nice rivet detail on



Here is the pic of the aeries exhaust nozzles ready for under coat



Lightning ready for undercoat to find anymore filler places



The next few pics are of the areas found for filling after undercoat and the last one is of the canopy filled and masked both sides ready for undercoat

After a little more filler and sanding and another undercoat all was ready for base coat of barley grey
Pic of the undercoat done



And here is the pics of the barley grey done





Today I'm masking of to add the red to the tail backbone and wing leading edges pics to follow later
