Kit Airfix
Paints  AK interactive Aluminium, and Polished Aluminium, Alclad Black Micro primer and Alclad Gloss Black Base, Tamiya XF4 Matt Blue,
Pavla Resin Seat

Out of the box build except for the seat, and will make a better pitot tube than the kit offering,

Looking good! Built this one a little while back, quite a good kit!

Lovin your work.

On the subject of EE Lightning kits. Does anyone know of (1:48 scale) alternatives to the two airfix kits?

The Lightning seems to be such a popular aircraft amongst modellers that I am surprised Airfix appears to have no competitors in this market.

Personally, I would love to see Tamiya get one out. Just to provide a bit more scope choice-wise.

Sword do a stunning 1/48 lightning with resin parts that I was very tempted by the other day!

I'll have a wee look at that. But I've went ahead and ordered an Airfix one.

Yeah it's worth a look, I didn't mention that they are the T4 and T5 twin seat trainers!
