Thanks Ted. I'm sure you would have a blast building one of these Ma.K. kits! Unfortunately they are not that easy to get over here, had to order it from HobbyLink Japan. And also there most of the kits are sold out. Arrived in perfect condition, very nicely packed.

I suppose cost was always be an issue with decent quality low numbers kits.
Shame as I really fancy getting the Falke, suppose I might have to make do
with getting a P38 and an old school F1 car and mash them together [smile]

Cockpit is coming along and as Pete said should look great with a touch of colour with all those extras.

Those Acrylic Metal paints look great, love that Dark Iron.

Yeah, being cheap isn't a quality of those kits :-/

Yeah I can definitely see myself treating myself to a Ma.K. kit at some point though.
I think I've seen Petes Falke, lovely work as ever from him and this one is shaping up great too [smile]

I have some progress to share... painted the hatches and seat. Still have to put on a matte coat and maybe some pigments.

Thanks for looking :-)

Gorgeous work !

I want to emulate that leather effect on the seat of my Kugel Spatz,
how many different colours to achieve that I wonder ?

Also the chipping on the seat is very nice and natural, kinda looks like you've used
three colours there, German Grey, Dark Aluminum ? and what looks to be greenish ?
is that right ?

Thank you Thomas. I always liked SyFy and building it is much fun. Probably not my last Ma.K. kit ;-)

Thanks! Turned out pretty good. Planing to paint the fuselage in a light color, so that should result in a nice contrast with the interior for more depth. Can't make pics at the moment but I will post the colors, filters and washes I used later... the leather is pretty much one color though :-) Glad you like it!
