Looks like this is going to be another great GB! Already soo many cool subjects and ideas! This will be my entry. Feel like I should have entered a nice Saab jet (there's still plenty of time for that later...) but I've had this kit for a while and this seems like a good reason to get it together.

Some info about the use of the plane in Sweden:

"Friedrichshafen FF33 was a german reconnaissance seaplane. Sweden was offered to buy five samples 1917. The planes were delivered 1918 but they crashed quickly. Sweden ordered additional eleven aircrafts, but the victorious Allies ended the affair. Marinens Flygväsende (Navy Air Force) bought two civil FF33 and also decided to copy the plane. The copies had problems with the air characteristics, but when the Air Force was created 1926, the remaining aircrafts were yet used as trainers, SK2, until 1929" (quote from instructions by Jens Lindell Daedalus Models)

The kit is a reboxed Techmod kit.

Nice instructions in colour

Also got a PE set from PART

And finally some inspiration, my plan is to do a dio based on this photo

Don't know when I'm going to start this build, I have my Bristol fighter all over the bench and I don't like to have multiple builds going, so I will probably finish that one first.

Absolutely loving the variety on offer in this GB !
another really interesting subject and I do like the idea for the dio,
water seems really tricky to get right to me so I'll watch and learn for that bit [smile]

Detail set looks deluxe too, this is gonna look sweet when finished !

I've got no clue how I will solve the water, but I will make sure to share my experiments [smile]

Finally got some time at the bench, so much going on in life right now so haven't got much time or energy left for the hobby. Seems I got a lot of catching up to do on the forum as well.

Anyhow I started this kit and sadly the kit isn't the best, will take a lot of work to get it together. Flash, mould lines, pinmarks, bad fit, it's all there. Not that I expected much from a limited run re-box of a limited kit.

So I started to work on some PE for the interior

And trying to get some room for all that PE

Floats

Benz Bz III, mix of kit parts, PE and some scratchbuilding

That's it for now, hopefully I will get some time during the weekend to read everything I missed on the forum.

Thanks for looking!
