Hey Paul, I just now saw this post. Thank you very Much. This plane was finished way back when. I did not place a link at the end to the final images but they are in the final reveal forum. I'll post the link now. I did add the Great Wall Hobby 1/48 Mig-29A to my stash and look forward to building it some day. Bit of grave robbing but just read this whole thread tonight.
Inspirational work and a lot of tips for when I eventually pluck up the courage to tackle this monster myself

hopefully you will avoid each and every mistake I piled on! The academy kit is OK and I have seen it finished nicely, But the GWH 1/48 that Bob did an inbox review on is the current top molding of the plane. Everything he cites in his review is spot on. Beautiful kit but cost a few more $$$. I bought the 1/48 Academy kit online because I could get 2 of them for $14US!
