Thanks Ted.

We should use this section more often, anyone that does research on their models can put them here for anyone else thinking of doing the model.

Now if that engine removal does not scream out for a diorama reconstruction I don't know what does. I have the AMK version of the Foxhound and it comes with two complete engines, it would be a shame to hide them away.

I've just been looking at the AMK MiG 31 kit manual and the two engines are complete (full length), but what is interesting is that they look like they can be removed from the completed model...now that makes the diorama a distinct possibility.

Could well be my next one, just have to clear unfinished work first..and I might hold off until I see what the next GB will be.
Had to buy the kit as I had vouchers that expired at Easter and almost got it for half price.

Thanks for you comment Thomas.

I thought as I had gone to the trouble of finding on-line details I may as well post them in the forum as a kind of library for other members to use.

It's certainly quite a chunk of a jet, I like the way it's basically a rectangular box.

I have a few more reference details I collected for other models, I'll try and get around to posting them in this section.
