Thanks Gary! The kit comes with A LOT of figures, but they are all waving... maybe I align them along the the hole interior, lol. Don't know where this is going, probably a do a little "maintenance" diorama. Already ordered something special from Japan for it... :-)

Nice going Fabian, it looks pretty roomy in there so you will have no problem fitting the figures in if you wanted to.
Nice idea to open up the doors and a tidy job on scratchbuilding the new ones

that is a nice looking kit and the shot of the interior mocked up so far is a real attention getter, especially the picture of the entire fuselage end to end. great idea to "open" that door--very nice work.

Yeah good start Fabian, that little touch up with the framing for the doors looks great.
Looking forward to you putting paint to plastic. [smile]
I agree with Ted, this is going to be an epic GB. [smile]

Those photos through the fuselage are awesome.

Do you make them using a magnifying glass or you have a macro len?

Let's see what is that special thing from Japan. You've intrigued me.  [biggrin] [biggrin] [biggrin]

Hey, Thanks a lot for all the encouraging messages :-). Unfortunately no update so far - skiing next week and a lot to take care of at work for I leave. Missing my Betty already ;-)

Most of the time I use my iPhone 5 for the pictures. The last one is taken with a simple add on fisheye lens: http://m.hema.nl/winkel?fh_location=%2F%2Fnlhema%2Fnl_NL%2F%24s%3DLens%2Fpnl_product_type%3E%7Bbooks%3Bshop%7D&fh_view_size=24&fh_secondid=pnl_60300038

Couldn't walk by the work bench without picking up the fuselage. Found one more door to open, the hatch on the side of the body :-). As far as I know this was the only way in? However, planing to make a attempt for a diorama, so a little ladder in there would be nice.

Little nerve wrecking to cut in the nice fuselage but it worked out fine, puh :-)

Beautiful kit Fabian. Sexy Betty !
Tamiya know how to do modeling gems. Most of their 1/48 kits are state of the art (Do335, Me219...). The 1/32 series are Just wow !!!!
Pics are awesome and you are off to a great start.
