Pics are awesome and you are off to a great start.
Found this link for you : http://aoon.orz.hm/gazou1/1.cgi?mode=thr&no=8210
Quite sure you have it, but in case not... [wink]

Thank you very much for the great reference pictures, most of them I didn't know. Very interesting, great!
The kit is not very state of the art because of it's age - but for sure sexy ;-). Thanks again!

Back from holiday and pulled my Betty out of the shelf. Mostly cleaning up some parts and removed all the ejector pin marks on the inside of the fuselage. Also added some missing structure detail and made a floor for the back part of the plane. No clue why Tamyia though that part isn't necessary. Maybe your not supposed to open al the doors ;-). Not so mutch to show, so just one picture. Hopefully more soon...

the opening you cut looks like the kit was molded that way!

Thanks a lot! Really starting to like adding own elements to my builds. As I said earlier, there is very little reference material as far that I know, so a just making stuff up and try to give it a plausible look :-). I'm sure I will find the perfect reference as soon I'm finished with interior, lol.

Hi Ted, nice hearing from you! Actually it is molded that way, at least a little. Just followed the panel line of the hatch with a scribes, patient an with little force and then thinned the fuselage from the inside with a lot of sanding.
