I've been alright. Just busy and lacking of motivation to sit down at the bench. Going to try and spend some more time here again, even if it's to live vicariously through everyone else's builds.

Work has just had me busier and traveling a little more, and my cousin talked me into being an assistant coach for their daughter's softball team (me coaching 9-10 year old girls. Don't know what they were thinking lol.).

Looking forward to the great work the contestants are going to put forward, and have enjoyed the suspense that you were/have been building up for them. And by the looks of it the good old USPS has been assisting you with adding even more anticipation.

Kenny, good to hear from you. I think after the Phantom GB we all found our mojo's in a mess.

This SIG is helping. I must admit it is going better than I thought it would....but the best is yet to come !

Agreed. Think that phantom GB is what left me in the funk I have been in. Got a bunch of partial builds going that I just haven't been able to bring myself to finish after that. Did almost sit down and work on one of them about 2 weeks ago, but then I got an email and had to drive to Austin, TX to work for a week. After I finish all the paperwork I have left from that (stupid expense reports), I'll see if I can't talk myself into sitting down and getting some work in. Till then I'll enjoy the show here.

Speaking of show I think some of the (bad?) influence from the forums are having some effect on a certain show (or could have been for a while since I've only just watched the one from friday). Missed hanging out here.

Glad to be back. Hopefully I can keep myself from taking such a long break from the forums again for a while. Crazy how random stuff just likes to crop up and get in the way.

Yep, I HATE it when LIFE gets in the way of scale modeling!

Hey Kenny !

Dang good to hear from you buddy !

I hope like has been good to you and really look forward to seeing you get back to your bench mate.

It can be really hard to get back to it after a big mojo loss ( my last big one was 18months) but if you pick, something that is simple to build and knock it out over a short period of time it can do wonders.

I think that just seeing something get finished can really give you a boost

Thanks pete. After the few posts I made here I actually did manage to get back onto the bench, so I think my mojo is starting to make a comeback.

To Update the S.I.G. once Ted has released his Final Reveal Photographs I will be setting up a voting thread where each member can vote for the best modeller of this SIG.
You will each have ONE vote for the modeller who, in your opinion, has produced the best model, taking in to consideration what difficulties each has had to overcome.
The kits given to Fabian, Peter and Ted were chosen very carefully to test each one outside of their respective comfort zones.

Should there be a draw, after the voting closing date, I will invite BobbĂ˝ to help me in chosing a winner (he doesn't know this yet...but probably does now!)

Thank you.
