You mean Roy Foker's bird form robotech Him and Rick Hunter flew the much older veratech valkeri fighter i dont think i spelled that right.

yea Roy had the Jolly Rodger marking on his plane Rick's plane was just the standard red an white fighter. Now Macross and Robotech were technically two different shows but Harmony Gold USA the right's holder of the US release of Robotech did or  try to combine both Macross and Robotech story lines and it did not last long from what i remember i think it was a movie Macross was a future story after Robotech. I think it was the first Macross movie.

but any way regardless of all that the jolly roger marking would be a good choice.

I don't have any knowledge of Macross or Robotech as I've never seen the tv program a , not sure if they were shown over here but I've seen a load of the models displayed at shows. The robots look really impressive and the jets with the Manga schemes are very eye catching, would be cool to see some in the group build

Robotech was shown here in Australia and in the US. It's pretty cool, speaking of which does anyone know where to get 1/48 Hasegawa's Skull squadron veritech?

Well i the kit is expected to arrive about the middle of February.  hence it is coming from Japan. but it is one of those few kit's to where that is the only place you can get it from.

Rare and interesting kit, I shall watch the progress of this one with interest [smile]
isn't there a transformable version of the Valkyrie ?

Either way, I do like my Manga Mecha [smile]

Well yes Bandai does make the transformable Valkyrie kit but it is like their Gundam kit's they already come precolored prepainted with regular stickers which don't get me wrong is fine for those that like to build those. But that Hasegawa Macross YF-19 is a plastic model kit that you have to build an paint with water slide decals like all of their plane type kit's yes in the animated series it does transform from plane mode to battleoid mode to full bot mode but this kit is what you see on the box strictly plane mode. which is what i want.
