Hi guys, I'm from Australia and do not seem to have this product on our shelves, I have had a bottle sent over though it has a different label to the one in Bobby's product review. It has the heading 'Pledge Multi-Surface Wax' as well as 'Formally known as Klear' though the label has a yellow strip near the base and yellow at the top. Does it sound as though I have the correct product,
Thank you in advance.

Sounds right as long as its a finishing wax not a cleaning your ok. It doesn't have to be milky in fact the one that's milky is the older version. the formally known as Klear is a good indicator you've got the right product. a pic of the bottle you have will help us to identify it better for you.

Key label indications:

1.multi-surface
2.Acrylic*
3. should NOT BE FOR USE ON WOOD FLOORS, even though the label says "multi-surface"

Johnson has began using a multitude of "new" labels that have caused confusion.

here is another thread here on Genessis with lots of pictures: check it out

I really don't know anymore. People can say what they like, the new is definitely NOT as good as the old. Also, the US version is different from the English (European?)version. clear V's milky colour.

Below are 3 different versions of the same. [confused]

Johnson and Johnson have changed the formula Aiden. I have read where the "squirt and mop" labeled product is not as good as the others [who really knows?]. I got the idea that the squirt and mop is already diluted since you don't mix it with water to use on floor??? as for the clear VS milky chemistry, I know that certain chemicals were banned in Europe, and Johnson and Johnson had to respond to the law. No telling what is really going on. All I really know is that the US bottle multi-surface, acrylic, clear [colorless] in the bottle with the "blue boots" image has worked well for me. I never had any of the old standard milky product. I guess each of us has to test the products for ourselves??

Hi Ted, the Squirt and Mop (sounds like a sign in a peep show!) is a cleaning product. The one with the "Blue Boots" is the one to have. Unfortunately not available in the Emerald Isle! Johnson & Johnson are a different company from SC Johnson, the makers of Pledge products. Not joining the GB?
