Celebrating the genius of Russian vehicle designs.

Any vehicle, era or genre but just as long as someone
called Igor either flew it, drove it, built or designed it [biggrin]

I would like to add an amendment to this GB if I may,

Irishmodeller's Russian GB suggestion included vehicles used by the
Russians that were designed elsewhere, nice idea I think.

So anything that wore Russian colours as well as any vehicles
designed by the Russians, even if they wore the colours of other
nations or were Russian designs built by other nations etc. [smile]

Both Steven, either and or both.. [smile]

just to recap the above :-)

Any vehicle that wore Russian colours wherever it was designed,
like the Aerocobras and Spitfires of WW2 or the B29's they copied etc. etc.

and

Any vehicle designed by the Russians in any colour scheme that those vehicles were seen in,
like the Migs used in Vietnam or East German Migs etc. etc.

..
so if the Russians designed it, built it or put their colours on it you can build it no problem [thumb] [smile]

Oh I see Steve, you got the posh version of that kit [biggrin]
Well, I look forward to you doing that one mate [thumb]
Has it got lots of Photo Etch ?
and are the tracks molded ?
or are you going for an upgrade ?

Anyhow, I reckon this will be my main model for this GB [smile]
I'll be attempting my first all natural metal finish with 'Nam scheme in de box [biggrin]

I wonder what colour scheme you will be going for this time ?
The pink one maybe ? [biggrin] [biggrin] [biggrin]

[616893-12614-50-pristine]

And maybe one or two of these [biggrin]
some good engine bits in this kit, with a bit of extra wiring etc.
I can't help but want to do a fictional scheme on one of these though as
PLAAF makes me think SPLAAF and after a few more associative thoughts
I get to Jamaican "Joint" Strike Fighter for a bit of a Cheech and Chong humour [smile]
We shall see [smile]

[106363-10404-pristine]

mmmmm [smile]

Oh yes, I like that heli, would like to see that kit come together !! [smile]

They look very similar, the retractable probe out the back, the winch on the door, the tail boom beacon and extra ariel
... and perhaps the bubble windows on the door are more accentuated, but other than that, very similar indeed,
I do like the splash of colour though of the teeth [smile]
