Well have been work on this big beast for about a month now I should have bought the Aries cockpit set
but I did not have the money for it so I felt I had to do at least something I sanded off the molded in seatbelts and made belts from Tamiya tape and had a photoetch buckle and latch set from verlinden productions for modern US jets sitting around and used them made the seats look a lot better painted up the cockpit an instruments added some color to offset the blandlness of the black an gray. this thing is huge to say the least but the F4 is my favorite combat jet of all time and I have always wanted to have one in 1/32 scale.

I have no idea where I am going to put the darn thing when it is done lol  but I will find a spot but ill worry about that bridge when I cross it.

The belts look excellent and the cans look great Joe. It looks like you didn't have much trouble with the intakes either. Fantastic work so far.  [biggrin]

Thanks Mike

Yea I don't know what revel was thinking back in the day but this kit has no intake trunks which is kind of silly sense it does have the engine faces in side but I have a set of AMS resin FOD covers to cure that problem when the time comes.

Thanks Ted she's coming along nicely and as you guys can she's not with out her fit issues but over the many, many, years of doing this I have built much worse kits with way more fit problems this big bird is a cake walk compared to what I have built in the past and it does not bother me one bit.

One I like the challenge.

Two I am used to it.

Three well all I can say is, if a kit would ever go together perfectly there is really no fun in it for me.

I have said it so many times I love this hobby and still love learning new things to do in it.

Thank you for the comments guys I very much appreciate it.

Joe.

Great work on the pit and seats Joe, details look real nice mate, looking forward to seeing the paint go on.

I like these big Revell kits, they come out really nice with a bit of care as you have shown
