Thanks for that Daniel.
Apologies for the very short intro etc, but the laptop was having a tantrum, and I wanted to watch the Singapore Grand Prix!!!!!
As you will have noticed I am not doing a blow by blow account, but just showing a general build.

How ever, what I will comment on are the canopies. There are four in the kit,2 flat top (open or closed) and 2 bubble top(open or closed). I choose to have the bubble top open, and while cleaning it up it developed internal cracking! They do seem pretty thin, but then maybe it was me being heavy handed! So I thought I would have the bubble top closed version, guess what? same again.
Have now settled on the flat top open, and haven't bothered to clean it up!!

Onwards and upwards!
see you later

Hello again!
Been doing a bit more work, first a couple of shots of putting the decals on,

I have now basically finished the plane with some weathering (pin washes and powders) and then a flat coat. I hope to build a diorama around this model, so more when that happens.

I hope you like the work, I keep trying to improve and hopefully I am getting there,
see you soon

Thanks Ted and Daniel.
I have been getting the bits together for the dio,but I have been side tracked by building a 1/72 Lancaster,as a Christmas present for my father in law. I am doing it in the markings of a Lancaster that his brother was a tail gunner in. He flew in several but this one was the one he finished his tour in.
Hopefully I will show some pics when done. It is not the best kit to make!!!!
