You are very kind Nigel, I don't know how it came over in my post after I had dropped it but I was far from cool headed lol, I really did have to dig deep to get myself to carry on with it and if this had been a build that I was doing before I had an online presence and I hadn't got the encouragement from you guys I'm certain IT would have been a bin bag job. I still find it hard to take compliments on my models. Before I started posting my stuff on here I really didn't have any idea of where my level of ability was, the only people who saw my finished stuff were my family and a few friends and although they would tell me that they were good I wasn't sure if they were just being polite. The comments I have recieved on this forum has shown me that I do have some ability but more importantly it has given me a bit more confidence and self belief (something I have always lacked in my artistic side) and given me a real boost to push myself further. I dont know what to say in reply to being thought of as inspirational. I'm just Pete, a bloke just on the right side of 50 going on 15, mad as a balloon who has a tinfoil hat wearing skull called Fluffy and a unicorn called Trevor as friends living in a tiny villiage in the middle of nowhere and builds models underground. Pete

Humility always has a problem in the face of cheering crowds Pete. I have always had hobbies that needed a bit of recognition sharing in order to get full satisfaction. Art, photography, now its models. You will just have to live with our praise as long as you keep turning out these Rembrandt's! LOL. Your WIP threads really boost the site and help all of us to learn. I'll make the mistakes and you and a few others here keep teaching us! thanks

You are very kind Ted thanks buddy

Pete, a truely amazing come back from a near total disaster, and to still be a winner is fantastic.

Bobby is right, when he said you were an inspiration to everyone else during the builds, and by encouraging others along the way with their own builds. It's been a pleasure watching you build and paint, and make it look so easy. I do hope you continue with the hobby mate.

Thanks Nigel,

I have to say that it came as a bit of a shock to get Bobby's Email, I didn't think that I had done enough with this one. To be honest I was really happy just to get it finished lol !

It's the encouragement from all of you guys that keeps me going, and I too get a kick from following you all along with your builds.

I've no plans to give up yet mate, Ive been a bit quiet lately due to this and that and it's led to a bit of mojo loss, I tried to sit at the bench on Friday but couldn't get motivated (ive been working on the house and can't seem to switch off builder mode and get back Into modeller mode) as soon as things get back on an even keel I'll be back
