Considering I have little clue as to what I'm doing yet, this came out ok.
I went with the Blade Fold Set from http://www.scalewarships.com as my display cabinet is not very deep.
The Interior photo etch was the fiddliest thing I've ever had to combat. I need to invest in some proper tools if I'm ever to use it again.
Anyways, my next two models are waiting( Willys Jeep and British Special Forces Jeep ) so please let me know what you think.
This is only my 3rd model so any pointers welcome.

I'd say it came out a good deal more than just 'okay,' it's very nice indeed!

My third model didn't come close to being this good, you absolutely must know what you're doing. Very nicely done! Congrats!

Oh wow, thanks all.
I suppose that when you spend so long doing it you notice all the things you could have done better.
I've decided to do a base for it. I'll post up a pic when it's done.

Well, you got a lot more "clues about what you are doing" than many other beginners. Nice work all round! nice base, pictures, details, ETC.

Firstly that is a very nice model, and much better that my first attempts!!

Secondly my piece of advice would be if you are going to use a lot of etch in the future get something similar to this "Hold & Fold Bug",  its a tool for bending etch.  Not a cheap investment but make life a lot easier.

Thanks for the info. I'll look it up.
Etch was a nightmare. Some of the bits are so small I'd have been better off with a telescope to see it.
