Well I am calling this finished, really enjoyed this build apart from making a few self inflicted cock ups, it was very straight forward, the kit builds very easily, no great amounts of filler required anywhere, some weakness's the pitot tube on the tail it snaps off as soon as it is even slightly touched, and the nose pitot tube is poor being very soft in detail, so these were replaced with wire and a piece of hypadermic needle. Paints used were Vallejo White primer, Polyscale Cardinal Red, Tamiya X18 and XF69, Alclad 11 Stainless Steel, and various Humbrol Enamels to detail the cockpit and crew. Cleared with Johnsons Klear, Washes are by Flory models used Black and Grime and Grey, final Matt coat Windsor & Newton U.V stable acrylic Matt varnish. Base a cheap photo frame, with 1200 grit wet and dry fixed to it, ground crew are from the Italeri 1/72 NATO ground crew set.
Good luck to all in the GB Gary

Very nice indeed. the paint is spectacular, as well as all the detail you've packed into a 1/72 scale kit. nice diorama compliments the build and finish!
