I have never build a heavy bomber before and never a British one. I picked this one up from my local hobby store and now I got it home I can't wait to get started.

I love the box art its got action and in my opinion attractive.

Nice decals and instructions I just don't like the black spruces and plastic, but in the end, there shall be paint over it.

I have been really busy with school and exams so finding time to do a lot of this project is hard so I have to do it in small sections, here is what I have managed to do in the past few weeks.

I got the cockpit and other pieces put I place. I didn't use the decals but painted the raised control panel, and gave it a glass look with gloss varnish.

I thought the detail in the cockpit and the fuselage were very nice. I am use to building Airfix kits, and mainly the older kits which my local hobby store supplies. So a nicely detailed kit is nice.

Only a little amount of filler needed in the front where a big gap was.

With the wings on, I could see how big this 1:72 kit was. After see a Lancaster in the East Fortune Airshow in 2015 I didn't realise how big these aircraft were.
