Now doing this type of Modification work its not hard to do it is just tedious and nerve racking as Pete said. You have to be patient and take your time other wise you will only be giving your self more head ache filling and sanding.  You just cant saw on a model the same way as you would a tree branch it does not work that way which is the way I tried doing the first I ever took a saw to a model it was not pretty so I learned the hard way lol.

Well guys the first piece of my diorama has arrived carrier deck tractor from Verlinden only one tractor but choice to build one of three versions got this off ebay cause Verlinden has put this kit out of production which is kind of disconcerting cause these past couple years  they have been putting a lot of their stuff out of production. Oh well I guess that is how it goes now a days. sorry about the blurry pic camera does not do well at night.

Well Decals and some more equipment has arrived I have never used DXM decals before but they are printed by cartograf so they should be good.

OK guys working on installing the intakes which as you can from the gaps never fit well on this kit but hey I got plenty of filler   clamps on hand not the first time I have built this kit filling and sanding work does not bother me at all im used to it with cheaper kits.

My goodness you missed your career as a surgeon! It is scary to take a saw to styrene but you tackled it no problem. excellent. that wheel well detail is outrageous. some of the best I've ever seen. almost looks like a resin casting level of details. NICE.

Thanks guys well if kits were too easy to build then I probally would not build them I like doing kits that I have to put some work into. It is much more satisfying to me when the end result comes.

I like it when people make difficult things look easy [biggrin]

Anyhow, nothing much ever came from the people who ever said -
"I like a challenge, as long as it is easy !!" haha [smile]

One definition I heard recently that amused me was -
"Modelling, it's like lego but with knives !" [biggrin]

those wheel wells do look great btw
