Cripes Joe, you are certainly pushing ahead with this one. Great kit and the build is looking brilliant particularly with the flaps down.

Can't believe how quickly you sorted out the intakes. When I built this it took me days to get it right. Also the seam under the lex was another nightmare but you have nailed it.

Well thanks guys I admit its not a perfectly executed flap mod but its the best I know how to do when it comes to doing the flap system by hand with out buying the after market Wolfpack hard flap down  setup for this kit which as I have said seem's to never ever be in stock with any retailer must be a real popular set.

So I have done the best of my ability on the flaps its the first time I have done it on this kit but not the first time building the kit this is my second go at this one. and it is looking pretty good so far I think.

progressing nicely one thought, I think the inner flaps droop more than the outer ones (to guard against tip stall in flight) [smile]

Well that is more than likely true but I have seen plenty of pics were the flaps are in some cases in various positions on a parked bird there is one pic in my book that shows the flaps on a parked bird nearly in the same position As I have mine plus I really do not have the urge to go back and break everything off and redo it all over. thanks for the advice Paul but I am happy with where it is at lol.

Yeah sorry for inconvenience [smile]

I was unsure about test or standing conditions for preflight checks etc.

Really I was just thinking about the flight ready condition setup etc.
Reckon the outer ones (the flaperons) would have 80% of the droop
of the inner ones (flaps), roughly speaking.. [smile]

Anyhow, I also happen to think it looks more graceful the way the trailing edge
flows outward as it is a very graceful looking plane with it's long elegant lines,
Anyhow I think so [smile]
