Yea that's ok they will act differently in flight mode than in static mode I got it looking more convincing than what it was so as I have said before I have seen the flaps in many different positions on parked birds.

You're making great progress Joe,

I think you are right about the control surfaces at rest, they all look different in reference pics I have seen

Yeah, definitely looks a lot better and if you're displaying it with the canopy open as well it will all look good [smile]
The whole thing is shaping up nicely [thumb]

Thanks guys yea I have a few hasegawa pilots that I can pose in different positions I am thinking of using the one that will be walking up the boarding ladder or have him walking up the  plane captain while the ordance and tractor crews are finishing up preparing the bird for a mission I have so many ideas running through my head for the diorama and have not finished the plane yet LOL. I am loving this group build.

I think I have a set of decals for that scheme for my 1/32 hornet Joe, I'll have a look in a minute and check. I remember I got the kit on eBay and when it arrived I found an envelope full of aftermarket decals ( which was a nice suprise)

Yeah that is a cool colour scheme,
I love to see military aircraft in sports colours [smile]

I think this has to be my personal favorite for the Hornet  [biggrin]

Sorry to high jack your thread Joe

I found the decals, there are sheets for more Aussie birds and Canadian too

3 huge sheets, look at the size of the national markings !

Canadian and more Aussie,

It's a shame I only have one Hornet kit, i would like to build a few in the different markings

Even more !
Apart from the anniversary sheet which is for one plane, I think there are enough markings for 9 Hornets

Oh yea I can imagine but it would be well worth a shot to put on a kit and yea that tiger sceme really pulls you in I can only imagine how long it took to paint those two birds just goes to show the talented artists and world class painters that are in military around the world.

Ok gentlemen ive got the top of the spine as level as I can get and the pylons well it is such tight quarters in this area I was not able to get the filler completely all the way around the pylons but I got the main gaps filled so good enough but I must say she is almost ready for some paint.
