Oh yea I can imagine but it would be well worth a shot to put on a kit and yea that tiger sceme really pulls you in I can only imagine how long it took to paint those two birds just goes to show the talented artists and world class painters that are in military around the world.

I agree Joe, the guys who paint these special schemes have talent in spades, I'm amazed at how they have pulled off those Tigermeet schemes over the years and they seem to be more complex every year

Some schemes are easier than others for sure.
The Tiger one above aint too bad to have a go, used it a few times on my RC stuff [smile]
The stripes are easy enough to draw out free hand onto some masking tape,
the uniform curves can be done with a compass likewise, the trickiest bit to do
are the tiger faces on the tails and for this instance I would probably get a sheet
of white decal paper and bring the above photo into photoshop for massaging in to
scale (or get a friend who knows photoshop [wink] ) and print etc.

The scheme you're going for is a little trickier those parallel tapering wavy lines
is going to be much trickier freehand to get those super sweet.
Either way I'm glad you are going for a "champions" scheme rather than the usual grey [smile]

Indeed you ought to give it a go that 1/32 Bird would look nothing short of beautiful.  Pete

You are making this build really exciting with the pace of your work. Most Impressive. Those color/marking scheme photos are exciting too! Then here comes Pete with those GIANT decals. I would have to have another bench just for decals! I guess you would wet them in a bathtub? or a nearby pond? Joking of course. its great what we have to work with as scale model builders!.

Thanks Gary yea its going pretty quick but most of my builds usually do plus some of that fast pace comes from doing commission work and show work back in the day to where you where you have a lot less time to do it when you build a kit for someone else they want it done. but nowadays I  build for myself but the fast pace of the past has stuck with me.

Just catching up with the builds and the flaps are looking much better than before, great work.
if you're struggling with smoothing surfaces in tight areas you could try some cellulose thinners on a cotton bud (cue tip).

you can let the thinners start o melt the plastic, you'll start to feel it drag a little, at that point wet the cotton bud again and smooth it all off.
it's a great way to get rid of scratches and small seam lines without using fillers but not really good for gap filling.
