Dear friends,
I'm starting building the Revell 1/72 Snowberry Platinum Edition and need some help....Do I have to primer and painting the decks before applying the wood decks or can I go glue straight to plastic decks???
Pleased to hear...

Looks like your post was missed? Very sorry about that. I have not built any ship models in a very very long time. When I did, they did not have all the extras you can get with the kits now. I would say that it is easier to glue the decking to the plastic rather than a primer? My question would be if you attach the decking to the model and then have to paint other items around the decking can you mask the decking after it is glued down? I am walking in the dark of course. Best wishes with the build---you have probably already finished it by now? In the future, if you don't get a reply within a few days, send a private message to someone who has posted a ship model by clicking on their site name. Their profile will pop up and if they accept private messages, it will show that on the left side of the profile. Just click on "send private message" and go from there.

I'm very sorry I missed this post, I started this a while ago (probably too late now, but if you use the wooden decking you will need to seal it as if it gets damp it will swell and lift off.
