Kenny is right about not much going on at the weekend, with regards to comments on builds, and the shear number of new members. Some of us old fa*ts can't get round that quickly. [rofl]
I'm very interested in this build of the IDS as I have this kit myself and I'm watching to see what pitfalls there are and how you overcome them. At the moment a lot us don't want to talk about air intakes just yet, touchy subject with the Phantom GB members, isn't that right Kenny?

Your build is coming along really well, don't give up heart and enjoy.

..good to see you talking with Enrico. [thumb]

Great progress Joe, paint stage is coming up fast now ! The ratio of views to comments is always a bit one sided, but I guarantee that people are following along even if they are staying incognito, and Nigel and Kenny are right the weekends are definitely quieter around here.
Keep going buddy it's very nice and informative build you are bringing us, and I do love the Tornado

Well as I have said before I was just kidding when I made that first statement next time I will choose my typing more carefully but anyway Enrico I don't think has answered my question at least last time I checked he didn't but I have been able to look up plenty of tornado pic's online to see what I need to do with the paint procedure.

Well it is in it's first paint stage the first color I have chosen is Flat Gull gray then Dark Gull gray  and then the black now black is black don't matter but my Grays are not the exact accurate grays that go on a tornado they are suppsed to be grey silky matt and dark grey silky matt but I cant stand painting with matt paint to oily to messy and seems to take days on end to dry yes the American flat grays are not accurate but they really closely match enough and dry in 10 minutes an cure in 30 minutes easier to paint with and air brush cleaning time is cut in half. but that is just me and what I like to use.

So I will be posting more pics with in the next day or two. till then have a good one guy's.

Ditto Mike's comment Joe ... a lurker just dropping a comment so you know. [wink] Looking forward to seeing this one finished. I'm building Revell too right now and am not pleased with it unfortunately. And I see you have a couple of head scratching problems like I have. Anyway, keep up the good work mate.

Simon.
