Simon.

Well Simon I have been building Revell kits sence the 80's so I am used to the some what not very bright at times decisions they make with some of their kits but they really do now adays try really hard to get it right the main problem now is they keep choosing to use factory's in china to make their molds when they should use the ones in Korea like they did on their Strike Eagle kit which is one of the best an most accurate kit's they have ever produced but and I have had a few fit issues with this kit but I am used to this sort of thing with cheaper kits. and I build what I can afford to build.

and with hard work any Revell kit can be made into a show winner.
But as the guys have said a lot of their newer kits are kicking butt in tooling and accuracy and still priced low.

Joe--I've been away a while but I know that there are a LOT of people watching everything here on Genessis. Sometimes a comment will pop up and I don't recognize the name--it almost scares me! LOL. you have done some great work on this kit and the reward will be at the finish line for you. keep pushing ahead.

OK guys I found something else wrong but it is an easy fix but it seems every revel tornado kit has this exact same problem in all scales of the same plane the rear landing gear legs are twisted outward so when you put your wheels on they are canted outward but straight up an down is fine so basically dry fit your wheels then after you glue the legs and everything on let the superglue dry and harden then take some needle nose pliers and every so gently with enough pressure not to much to break it off styrene plastic is soft an bendable and twist them around eyeballing them straight.

that is just how I do it others may have a better way there is no metal landing gear available yet for this kit I looked. so I was just letting you guys know about the landing gear at least you wont have to find out about the hard way like I did lol.

You  know I thought I was going to do something about the black over spray and I changed my mind cause it looks a little more realistic to me like it is and I know this thing would never win and award for paint color an accuracy but even I got to admit dam this thing is looking good.

I think the soft edge on the black looks very realistic too, and I agree it is looking very good Joe !
It's going to look awesome with the tail art on it, those decals are very striking

well guys you will love your decals when you build your revel tornado they go on very nicely an smoothly all you need is micro set no need for micro sol these are not stubborn decals  Set lays them down very well. the tail decals are over sized which you will see from the first pic but they are supposed to lap over and blend with each other so it is ok now I did have to use walthers solveset to lap the excess but that is it. I added hasegwawa pilots and smart bombs rest is OOB.
