Used PVA wood glue to stick the grass to the base as it dries clear
the grass is easy to apply just load the bottle and hold about 10cm away ad squeeze the bottle to blow the air and grass out (put a large piece of paper down to catch excess)
keep doing this to build up coverage

BIG PIECE OF PAPER IT GOES EVERY WHERE !!!!![eek][wink]

The grass covers very quickly and surprised how little i used this is how much i used to do the full base
Untitled

over all and for the money very happy with the results the grass seems to go on better once its been in the bottle and blown out must break up the grass up better (seems stuck together in the bag )
Untitled
coverage is good see what its like once the glue has dried

Untitled
will be ordering some longer grass to try it out, But i wouldn't be spending loads on the static applicator unless your doing a lot of dioramas[biggrin] i would say for the money 10/10

Thanks for the replies
Done a bit more tonight, Not sure if this will work with the pre shading not that skilled with a airbursh on such a small scale so used a black marker to do the pre shading can repaint if it looks poo [rofl][rofl][rofl][crazy] and still got plenty of time to work on it , Used clear plastic strips to separate the arrow out (looking to save the gravel to use again)

Just the spot lights(led's) to figure out and the bushes to make and sort out how to mount the model to the base running out of time only five months left hahaha

spot lights?! you're going to have spotlights?? can't wait to see that. good landscaping work! very interesting. I bought some diorama grass and gravel the other day and I have been playing with it. at least we will never have to mow/trim it!!
