Yeah Paul, I think I can muster a little (big) something for this one mate.
Got a customer build on the bench at the min which I need to get finished then I'm all over this one, like a fly on poop!

I'm hoping you can muster at least two, a snack sized kit bash quicky and a main course [wink]
if you're taking requests, some kind of steam punk mecha would be cool haha [biggrin]

Anyhow, I look forward to what comes out the soup kitchen [biggrin]

I implore you to take your own advice on this one,
you can at least squeeze in a snack sized build [biggrin]
Good time to revisit Jet Bikes ? [wink]

Jas nice of you pop by, will you be revisiting that
secret idea of yours from the last time round when
we were gettin excited about a possible Sci Fi
Scratch'nBash GB ?

Anyhow, I look forward to seeing what you gonna
make as I'm feeling a bit "ronely" over here as the
only scratch'n'basher thus far [smile]

I would love to get stuck in and I have a few candidates in the stash. But I just don't have the time at the moment to commit as I have a kit in a group build on another forum that is going to be a stretch to get finished in the time limit and also there is Nigel's Nemesis build on the horizon, those along with my other commitments don't leave any room for any more I'm afraid.

But never say never and if anything happens that means I will be able to join in then of course I will

Although I am seriously "incomplete" in all of my builds and now waiting for the SIG model to arrive---I actually thought about pulling out my "Misc materials" box and scratchbuilding an entry. I've got some cool clear acetate in a half round shape---thinking my version of a "pod racer" AKA Star Wars??? need to draw some pics.

No worries Pete, hopefully you'll get the chance to plop a quick novelty build in just for the laugh [smile]

Ted sounds cool, I do think you could do with taking a break from those builds and do a quick fun build.
You should start a build thread so we can see what plastic you've got to stick together and your
drawings too, just so we can see how your ideas develop as you play around  with different concepts etc.
Pod racer sounds cool, it's on my list of Scratch'n'Bashes too [smile]

Plus I don't want to be the only one scratching here [wink] [smile] [biggrin]

ah man, that is so in line with my "Scrap Heap Challenge"
or "Margarine Tub Moon Lander" suggestions, Do it Ted,
you know you want to, you just said so [wink]

please do start a build thread and post a few photos and
some rough sketches so that we might picture your idea [smile]

I have a few interesting bits of packaging saved up too [biggrin]

Anyhow, had a stroke of luck with my chin turret after I generously
donated my 1/72 Cobra to the Greebly box in its entirety [wink]
Fits perfectly, now, after much faff factor [smile]

has it got the engines ?

some of the weapons and mounts could make good engine bits with tubes and wires added

Cheers Fabian and Thomas, glad you're liking it so far chaps [smile]

Ended up scribing instead of the handle bars but have worked out how they will go together though,
roughly thirty parts all in all on just the handle bars ....

Need a proper scriber though, getting the lines crisp and clean is awkward with a point,
another light sand and a good scrub with an old tooth brush [smile]

Anyhow, on with the handle bars ! [biggrin]

I have been having a footle through my stash this morning trying to see if I can find something suitable I can use for a quick build for this GB

I think I've come up with something that I can knock up in a couple of days. I just need to get down to the Petecave and clear the decks a bit so I can take some pics and get started.

It's nothing very exciting I'm afraid but will be a small enough project for me to get involved

Cheers Pete,
but I think I need a scriber as I spent a lot of time just trying to clean
them up as the pointy thing seems to leave a lot of debris in the grooves
and and raises the sides as it squeezes through the plastic, more mess to
tidy up, I need a scriber, which is good because I now know what I need,
- a scriber [biggrin]

Anyhow, nice to see you've joined in with a juicy little YoofOh [biggrin]

anyhooo, on todays menu, Handle Bars and all thirty bits needed to make them [smile]
