Not sure if you are going into the future, back to the previous future that once was or if it is just a quick trip around a future that still has to be or just a return to a possible future past tense time variable. ...so where's the flux capacitor ?

Great scratch building Ted....bare in mind that Anakin still has to win...or no more Star Wars....and no more Jar Jar Binks (go for the win Ted....please).

Anything to get rid of Jar Jar Binks so yeah, please go for the win Ted ! haha [biggrin]
Is a Flux Capacitor necessary with the Faff Factor set to minimum given how rapid progress is here [wink] [biggrin]

I like the plasma, very nice idea, as well as the seat cushions.. What is going to happen to nose cone thing? Quite full of holes!

Paul---I think Jar Jar Binks will only appear on the "Rotten Tomatoes" list from now on. Story was he was created to appeal to children. The flux capacitor is the larger "box" covered with buttons on the back of the cockpit ring. It has a "hose" from it into the top of the car.

Thatmas--Thanks for the comment and question. Rather than just have a "cone" sticking out, I drilled all those holes to represent a different type of intake for the engines. its odd but so am I! LOL.

Well, I did not feel too keen this AM [lots of tummy trouble all day yesterday], but with a bit of pushing, I went on to the UNIT and managed to get about 4 hrs in. Rather enjoyed it of course and made a lot of progress--the word "lot" being very subjective of course!

Lets go straight to the pictures, shall we?

I've shown the "making a hose or conduit" thingy before, but tossed it in again. I believe I will have it running from a right side "tank" to the "box" on the pilots waist?? Or maybe another route? If you remove the coiled wire from the piano wire and gently pull it apart, you get a curled radio cord for a helo or other application?

DANG! I posted into 1/30/16 which makes all of this work "YESTERDAY"---oh well...........I'll try harder next time to get it all in same day. Cheers!

I was trying to be funny, seems the failure is all mine, sorry [biggrin]

Anyhow, really beginning to take shape now,
for some reason I keep thinking this looks like something
the A-Team built for that Pod Racing episode they had [wink]

Nice progress in the cockpit. So much added detail in your pod racer that painting will be very interesting! I'll look forward for detail in those engine pods...

Hey guys, thanks for ALL of the comments! much appreciated. I do hope to shoot some paint soon? yes, the exterior is all one color then I may pick out some specific parts to use variations of metal colors on, and all followed by a lot of weathering.

thank you Bill, much appreciated. I am actually going to be home bound for the next three days. car in the shop from a wreck my GF and I were in near the end of 2015. That is great news for most modelers, but my hobby bench is located away from home so...rats!

I have to agree with everyone, that is some excellent kitbashing and scratchbuilding going on mate !

Like Paul ( Choppa ) has done on his build, not only have you given everything a nice busy look but have also managed to make it all look like it has a purpo us and belongs on the model.

Pilot definitley fits the look and I truly can't wait to see how all this is going to look once the paint goes on as it looks amazing already. The paining will only tie it all together even more.

Great work Ted, this is going to be an epic pod racer mate
