I got my 3 tube lamp of ebay, they are a bit hard to find, just search on ebay for a lamp and then search for highest price you should get there in the end.

Nice work station

Finally got my workspace put together. So many recycled items came in handy. I still have to get a proper table for the paint booth
and extractor fan. It is fastened to a makeshift "pedestal" of plastic tubs upside down and the exhaust pipe goes out a window behind.
When you can't go wider, go UP. I built a simple wooden frame over my table out of 1"X4" boards, very similar to a portable cloths rack.
In the center there is a fluorescent light, augmented by a swing arm lamp. The lamp swings around to light the paint area also
Tomorrow or asap I will plumb the regulator/water trap on my compressor and begin learning about the Veda 180 Airbrush I bought.

Thanks for the encouragement. I had not really thought about the Spitfire [my head is stuck in modern era jets and helos] but Bob
suggested that I start with a WWII plane [he recommended the Spitfire build also] for enjoyment and to get back to modeling skills
a bit easier for me rather than tackling a more complex project. Great suggestion. I would be able to get a kit locally around the 25th
of this month. Got to recheck the deadline for the group build. Thanks again.

edit-I'm going to join the build helldiver! I think I can manage it since I am retired and have a LOT of time. little money, but a LOT of time!

Updated my work space today. Replaced my "inverted storage tub stand" with a proper table to hold my paint booth/extractor fan [yes, its a home made unit].
Still need improvements but I guess you always do? Better organization as you go along, getting the most used tools and materials at your hand. I am very pleased
at the moment. Much of what you see has been collected over almost a year. Ready to begin by joining the Spitfire Group Build tonight. Thanks to everyone here
for the great support and encouragement!
