So it's finished ! All in all it's a great kit, main issue is the dodgy intake trunks, but it it is fixable with a bit of care, if I ever build another one I will get some resin ones I don't think I could face the filling and sanding again lol !
There is a work in progress for this in the group build section, but be warned it does go on a bit !
I had a nightmare getting the wire for the bridle to behave itself so it's not as straight as I would like, also I have left out the hold back for a couple of reasons, the main one being lack of decent reference and the other one because I need the plane to be easily removed from the deck as I've got nowhere to display it at the moment.
Anyway enough waffle here's the pics, the deck does light up as do the engines, I will take some pics tonight when it gets a bit darker

Pete

Looks fantastic. Did you get any pictures with it lit up?

Truly amazing Pete. This is looking so cool!!! And thanks for your WIP - can't ever be to long. Perfect for a newbie like me, enjoyed every part of it.
Is it dark already over there. Can't wait for light show! And please say hello to Mr. Magnum :-)

Great work mate!

That was quite a build Pete. It's been a pleasure watching you stage by stage produce something from a cardboard box to an incredible model like that. Such attention to deatail, along the way, that others would have probably by-passed.

A stunning piece of eye-candy. Well done mate, it is so realistic I'm going to use it as a reference guide.

Well done Pete, the deck is much larger in real life,i will come around again to see it if i can get a boarding pass [tongue] the phantom looks like you just snatched it out of the sky and some nice perspectives in the photos. Topper !!!
