I just realized you finished! Holy cow! I thought the Spit was just some much needed distraction. Wow, what a contender! Gratz Pete! You've just made this a tough competition!

Thanks Mike ! Yes it's finally done, I started the spitfire straight away as I was worried if I took a break for too long I might lose my mojo. I have started to sort out the cellar to convert into the new pete cave, but I can't do anymore until the electrics get sorted out so it's handy having the spitfire to pass the time until I can carry on down there

Pete

Edit: I picked up some fresh button cells today so I will put some pics of everything lit up tomorrow

Hiya Pete....wow wow wow...she turned out a real beauty....

Great build, great finish. I really have enjoyed watching you work through Pete. I know I have been away a few weeks but always present in spirit!!!

What..you have started a spitfire have you. No doubt you have already thought about designing a full size control tower for the field you are going to build for it???

Well done mate.

Thanks Joe

The base measured at it's widest point is over 4 feet by 2 feet , it does take up a fair bit if space lol

considering I have 6 more Jets in my stash right now, I could have an adventure for quite a while. since I already keep my head shaved bald, I don't worry about pulling my hair out! LOL

Cheers Steve, when I look back at the pictures I'm amazed with myself that I built it, I'm suffering a bit of jet withdrawal now though lol !
