Sorry I missed your comment !

Thanks Simon, it was a bit of a slog towards the end, but I got there lol, I don't think I will ever build anything as big as that deck again though it's a monster

I finally got round to taking some pics of this with the lights on, the reason it's taken so long is just down to the fact that this thing is so big that I needed to put it on the living room table to take the pics, and in the evening with the kids wanting to watch tv and do their stuff, finding a clear window in the evening has proved a challenge lol !

But anyway not the best pics ( i have enough trouble getting decent pics in daylight) but these show the effect, the figures and tug are in the cabinet, I left them off as you wouldn't see much of them in the dark.

Also a big thank you to Kenny, it was only down to his idea and pics that he posted on the build thread that enabled me to light the engines, so cheers Buddy !

Holy crap man that's ART. You have to get a few good pictures of this somehow. That would make such an awesome shadow box/coffee table!! A few select white LEDs hidden around the sides and you have a night launch in your coffee table. I have got to get motivated to build something like that.

That looks amazing lit up. Glad that the lights for the engines worked for you. The red in the engines definitely adds that something extra to the lighting effects.

Thanks guys, it's a little bit gimmicky, but it does look really cool lit up, the drop in LEDs that Kenny came up with are a great way to light up the engines without having to run any wires to a battery box, and it's inspired me to try and light up my Battlestar Galactica vipers

That's just awesome lit up Pete, grab your most expert photographer mate (might be you even?) and get him/her around for a fully set up shoot. I'm sure they'd love to do it! I would love to see that shot with a backdrop and a decent set of strobes. Salivating stuff mate.

I'm reading through your build thread, taken me an hour to get to page 6!! .... I keep shooting off on links. lol So much information in that 6 pages already. I'm going to post a video on there, I know you've finished but maybe others might like it for possible references anyway, it'll be there in a sec [smile]. Awesome stuff again mate.
