I´ve finished my summer project. The kit went togeather as most Tamiya kits do. Shake the box and there it is ,ready for paint. It took a small bit of filler along the spine and the nose but not much more.
The real aircraft had massive oil leaks from the engine and the drop tanks were not droped but used time after time, so that has taken som oil and beating over time.
The seatbelts are photo-etch, the whip antenna and the breaklines are scratch built from steel and lead wires.
Hope U enjoy. I certainly did.

There are times when modelmaking is extra enjoyable. In the sun, on the porch with some filler and a beer. Mmmmm.....

Beautiful work all round. Details, camo, weathering, all spot on. Loaded for bear with that ordinance. Congratulations!

That Sandy has been played with hard and put away wet!  Fabulous weathering, mate, and a cracking build all round.

Thank´s Geoff!! [smile]
The weathering was fun to do since theese aircraft leaked a lot of oil and produced a heavy smoke.
They allso reused the droptanks making that piece extra fun to chip and weather.
Thank´s again![wave]
