Just watched part one - couldn't agree more! Built the Tuskegee Airmen version of this kit as my second build in 30 odd years.

The kit is almost a "shake and bake" kit. I only had one or two small places where I had to add filler - I think more a result of my lack of skills than anything else.

If, like me, you are a beginner or returning to the hobby, this is a kit you must get! You will boost your confidence no end!

Will post pictures of my attempt in a day or two when I get home!

Great episode Bobby!

Hey Bob Is this build finished or is there another episode? I know you have a lot going on and probably haven't got around to this one yet, if there is another episode that is. Anyway was just wondering.

Thanks
Neil

Hi there

It should have been released the 31st but when it came round to editing I found I missed out the ending some how so I need to finish the videoing, which should make the 4th and final episode next week on the 7th.

Sorry about the delay it was all my fault .

Really nice Mustang. always loved the gracefulness of those planes in the lines [design] and flight. I've got a couple of questions:

I missed the name and manufacturer of that photoetch pickup tool. looks like an ink pen till you take the cover off, then it has
a bluish rounded tip that is "sticky"---I think that the principle there is micro cups on the surface of the tip material. Similar
material is used for the pads that sit on your dash and allow you just to lay sunglasses and such. they stay in place till you
move them. over time the cups get 'filled' with debris too little to see. washing with water clears the micro cups out and brings the
sticky back.

next question: names of the two primary saws that you focused on.micro saws....names and manufacturers. you stated the names
but I could not quite make them out.my bad. I noticed in some videos that you started using various text and symbols to augment
your narrative.that is really excellent. perhaps any product you bring out could be texted on the video for a moment. the we have
the option of pausing so we can make notes? I understand if that is too much of a technical time waster or if it might be distracting?

thanks for the feedback Ted, I will look into adding more text info as it does look like a nice bit of extra info for new people and old.

Thanks Bob

Here is a link to the 'pick up tool'. the one you used might be a different brand?
I think I will have to have one of these?...... http://www.internetmodeler.com/artman/publish/nrtools/Model-Craft-Pick-Place-Tool.php
