It doesn't matter what who make the figures, or what brushes you use, these results only tell me of how talented you are. These really are excellent Stephen. How many 1/35 or 1/48 figures have you painted?

I ask because both Nigel and myself started our figure painting with GW and pewter figures and have built up our skills from that base knowledge. I can see you going very far in the figure painting arena.

thanks
Yes I started figure painting over 30 years ago
With airfix 20mm stuff (along with gw lead stuff)
Have painted probably done a good few 1000 figures (spent many years working for gw, never as a studio painter bur did do white dwarf stuff)y
main personal aim for doing these is kick my painting up a gear. Which is partly reason for doing the NMM and trying a few other things outside my comfort zone

You used to work for GW? Then you have probably seen more figure painters than I ever have. Stepping out of our comfort zones is usually the best way to progress in skill. [smile]

Nice to have a man of your talent and experience with us Stephen.  [biggrin]

Wow! Cool Base! Funny to see that even in 54mm, figures in the future still take "selfies" on their iPads lol.

Excellent work Stephen! VERY excellent work!
