I made a lucky guess based on Nigel's clue, "look West young man" and knowing the scale, 1/24 [usually a vehicle?]......Adam WEST and the young man? Robin of course. the outer and inner box are covered solid with all kinds of vintage stuff. I will show it all in later pics.

I think that the main "challenges" for me here are the figures and the decals---all those trim lines--YIKES!?

And I do want to make a diorama base----lots of thoughts about that running around my one brain cell! LOL

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome !

A Batmobile how cool is that !

This will be a whole load of fun Ted. Looks like a very detailed kit too and even has the Bat Phone.

In the pics it looks like it has 2 chassis, is there different options ?

Pete

it does have a lot of detail, especially given the age of the Kit molds. I made a picture of both sides of the chassis----exterior/interior. sorry for the confusion. I also have some images not showing up in the postings here. will try to correct.

A great chunk of time at UNIT10 today. Had a chance to begin work on the Batmobile.

Hope to get rolling again this weekend!

Pete, you are right, so far this is a really fun build. The kit is about a 97% good fit so far and I am surprised at the detail for the age of the molds. Yay. Small stuff means a lot to me. Each end of the drive shaft is very accurate. The only other added work so far has been the exhaust system and rear suspension-- all parts had seam lines along their length--no real problem, just sanding and so forth. The styrene they used is relatively soft---it sands and glues easily.

Thats all for today---back at the UNIT tomorrow!
