Great show Bob! thanks!

When I was seeing the kits you reviewed with the incredible surface detail, My mind was thinking about how difficult it might be if you accidentally destroy any of that detail during a build and you have to replace it? Seems that as they up the precision of the moldings, a modeler has to up their game to develop the skills to build/finish a kit and preserve all that detail. Not  complaint, just an observation. Thanks again!

Great show Bobby! You really should build your dream kit and please do on camera :-). About the upcoming GB: we really have to wait another month? Guess I have to be patient then...

I was hoping for a new GB start this month too. Couldn't we have a mid month GB special episode?

I have the same thought myself.
As the details get better manufacturers should also consider the placing of the joins to the sprue (tree).
If they could make them smaller then there would be less to remove...and less styrene used..

Yeah I'm with the gang on this one too, it would be great if the overlap was when one GB finishes the next one starts immediately that way we get a full six months for each GB [biggrin]

Perhaps it might be an idea to start the GB proposal votings a month earlier and have six weeks of voting with two weeks before the end/beginning of the GB's to purchase kits as needed etc.

My suspicion here is that Bobby really didn't want to struggle with saying "Red Rugged Russian Revolutions" on camera given what a tongue twister it is haha [biggrin]

Anyhow, would be interesting to hear what you all think to my suggestion of starting the GB voting a month earlier to make the cross over nice and slick [smile]

While I am here I want to express one concern regarding my last two entries, particularly the Kugel Spatz as most of the pictures I uploaded were on July the 1st due to internet problems on my end, I did however manage to get at least one photo of each posted on June the 30th courtesy of my neighbours internet thereby proving I had completed all three of my entries by the deadline, which was the point you emphasized in the show. Never the less I have some anxiety over this, particularly over the Kugel Spatz as the first pic didn't get uploaded until 11:40pm on June 30th. I also want to reassure Bobby that no extra work was done on both the Kugel Spatz and Iron Wulf from the first upload to the last and all photos are 100% of the work done on the model before the deadline was completed, which is the important bit I hope [biggrin]

Anyhow, it is my hope that you're are satisfied that the models themselves were completed within the allotted time frame [smile]

Anyhow, that was, I think, one of the best GB's so far and all the entries are great,
you really do have your work cut out for you Bobby [biggrin]

Cheers again for another great show and I look forward to the next GB [smile]

Yea kinda disappointing having to wait month for the GB......

Kinda thought the whole reason the voting started a month ago was so that the current membership could pic and there wouldn't be an issue with members being gone or not interested when the time came to start if voting took place  too far in the future???

Waiting another month is, well..... Running the risk of the above reasons to become a reality......

My 2 cents worth...

Dave
