Ok can anyone answer me? Do we start a WIP when we're ready? Has the flagged dropped officially? [smile]

Yes, its a solid go! Start your thread and get started mate. :D

Don't forget to seriously take your time with the details Simon. Choose an area or object to concentrate on or it will get overwhelming very quickly! You really have a lot of work ahead of you with these figs. But don't let me scare you from it. You've seen the results that Nigel and I have had. This will be a test of fine motor skills, eye strain, and patience.

But when you're done... Well you know. ;)

Good luck mate!! You're going to need it with what I'm bringing to the GB this time. >[smile]

Hehe, cool. Yeah I'm already planning my strategy. The old workstation will be a dedicated figure painting station now. I have lots of pairs of glasses and not afraid to use them (all at once if need be!), I am watching youtube videos on how to paint these things, and I have a special "what I bought today" to reveal in my thread to help in the process. [biggrin]

hmm.... end of january kinda makes me think that I should do something more than just the 1/48 figures that will go into my bomber diorama. Think I might take a trip to the games workshop on the other side of town this weekend, and take a look around.

If you have a gaming/comic shop around anywhere that would be the place to check. The local shop in my town has a ton of different figure based games. Including a good stock of decent supplies. You'd have to search for tabletop games on Google to at least get a starter list of games that have figures and then expand your search to find out who is carrying them.

If I had ever decided to make this search myself I'd probably have at least a couple of sites to recommend. But alas, I have not yet made that inquiry lol. That should help though and give you a start, unless Nigel already knows the answer to this question?

One that comes to mind is Wyrd-games.net. It's fairly new and established in 2005. They are based in Georgia, USA, and I've heard good things about them. Worth giving them a try.

There are a lot of themed wargames with relevent figures, like Star Wars, Zombie Land, Chaos, and my favourite Jet Pack Unicorn and Puppets.

Have a look at the Wyrd web site, Malifaux 2E.

or if not your style try this link

Hmmm.... in my search on ebay for a figure to paint I came across many highly censored product images. Guess I have to be a little more specific with my search terms. LOL
