Final reveal, in the last minute final call.

This is the picture that inspired me to make this "toilet bomb" build:

[Toilet%20bomb%202]

I thought it look awesome.

The build went on pretty good until the last week where all sorts of mishaps happened.

I dropped open full tin of humbrol on the wing, luckily i could just wipe it of and there was no major damage in the end.

Tamiyas decals i pure rubbish.

Brengun decals that come with the toilet bomb was perfect.

The antenna and the footsteps have been knocked off several times.

I will never mask canopy with bare metal foil again. It was easy to mask with but it took forever to get off again.

The model is not 100% out of the box. I scratch little on the drop tanks and off course the toilet bomb is aftermarket.

The plane is painted with gunze and tamiya acrylics and weathered with oils.

In the end I'm pleased with the result and the kit itself is top tamiya quality.

So here is the pictures of the finished toilet bomb dropper!

Joakim,

A most unusual subject, but the model looks great.
I see you got hit by the curse of the GB, where anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

You've survived that to produce a well painted and weathered model worthy of being in a Final.

Thanks for nice comments!

Its a great story and funny pic of the "sanitary flush bomb".

But when i look at the old pic of the toilet mounted and the mechanic next to it
the toilet looks way to big, it looks "out of scale".

I guess its the view/perspective that makes it look huge in that pic.

I wonder if it ever got dropped.....maybe it come to good use in some outhouse in Vietnam.

The toilet from brengun is in 1/48 scale and its normal size for 1/48 scale figure.

It does look great on my shelf and already have a visitor asking why the hell there is
a toilet hanging under the plane [biggrin]

It is in deed eye-catching he he.
