I've got Russian tanks coming out of my ears !! Two T-72's in 1/48 and a T-55, T-34, T-62 in 1/35 and now this awesome kit ! great moldings and three PE frets, loads of greebblies too, I can feel a kit bash coming on with this one But for now I'll stick this here as a place holder until I have a plan for something novel __________________ May The Farce Be With You ! haha, too late !! you've planted the idea in my mind now I'm rummaging through the kit to see how and what I can use to make the legs and luckily the side armour above the tracks are separate pieces and are ideal for making legs ! Similar face to your T-90 Mike I could go for at AT-AT style legs instead of the spider... or I could ditch the body and do an AT-ST style mecha I can imagine a couple of crewman standing at those two window/hatches/eyes Cheers for the idea Mike, you've really got me thinking on this one now __________________ May The Farce Be With You ! too late, he has been taken over by an alien insect fever! not sure sci-fi or kit bashing is part of the GB allowances. I think it has to be a true blue Russian vehicle? Hahahhaa pmsl lol nothing in the rules saying either way about fiction, it just says it's got to be Russian designed or built or wear Russian colours, this tank is Russian designed and built which will be wearing Russian colours, it's just going to be ever so slightly modified !! I figure if there was ever a good time to do something slightly Russian Sci Fi it's this GB we shall see, just playing with ideas at the moment The other thing to bear in mind is that it is highly unlikely to get Top Gun given the plethora of talent at work in this GB, I figure my best chance of winning a place is to go for Goose and win most original That said if Bobby doesn't like it he will simply choose another entry etc. Either way I aint sure I can help but do something unorthodox to this kit niw that Mike has given me the idea to put legs on it !! Blame Mike for the legs, I do !! haha But yeah, this will be my "side" side project so for now back to my Progvev-T / T-55 project __________________ May The Farce Be With You ! Paul... And then I found this little beauty built from an Object 279 and some manga bots, love it !
