And so she is finished.  This was a typical Trumpeter kit for me.  It had its good points and its nightmare points.  I have found that PE and I still don't get along and this had a lot of small PE parts.  It took lots of patience at times to get it to settle down.  The other nightmare portion of the kit was the main wheel wells and the fitting the landing gear struts in them...UGH!

You'll notice in the pictures that the wings are never swept back.  Unfortunately with the drop tanks on the wings the pylon area doesn't move so when you sweep the wings back the rear of the drop tanks hit the side of the fuselage.  DOH!  [tounge2]

But I did enjoy the build and that is what counts.

An awesome looking airframe. I see where everything is crammed in around the centerline, landing gear, and intakes. WOW. I also see how complex the main LG are. good work! nice weathering!

Congratulations on this great finish! I'm still struggling with mine... somehow this kit is dragging my mojo down. Seeing your finished and beautiful weathered helps to get the needed push to finish this kit :-)
