Well here she is! Overall this was a really nice kit to build. Decals we're pretty basic but apply well. I had some issues with my paint peeling but made it work. I watch the Great Planes on the super sabre and they said they flew sometimes 2-3 missions a day so i went with a pretty weathered look underneath especially. I used pastel wash for the weathering.I really liked how the gear doors were hinged along with the airbrake and the apu door. Also it came with two styles of fuel probes, pitot tube either straight or retracted and two nozzles for the engine depending on which engine u want it to have. After some research I went with the upgraded engine, the upgraded bent fuel probe and the retracted pitot tube to save some shelf space lol. Complaints for the kit: It came with a great looking ladder but no option to have the canopy open so i had to scratch build a couple parts ( nothing fancy) to put it in the up position. And the landing gear was a chore to put together but looks great once done. Heres some pics..im hoping to take some better ones on a nice sunny day!

Great looking build and finish. You have the heat effect done perfectly on the exhaust. Very very nicely done [smile]

Very nice indeed! The exhaust is looking very good and the paint job is very convincing - love the colors you used. Looks like a very nice detailed kit and you really brought it to life. Very well done :-)

Thanks guys! I'm happy with the way the exhaust turned out also..paint colors were the ones recommended in the kit and were tamiya acrylic. If anyone is looking to do a super sabre this is a good kit [smile]

Nice birdie.

Love the exhaust burn and the quiet unusual refeulling probe this bird has.

I have also a Trumpeter F100F in my stash.

I do intend to have a love for the bi-place versions, like the N/A10W thunderbolt , TA7D Corsair,
T55 Lightning,....

Thanks guys! And you will like the kits it's really a nice build. The hobby shops around here are pretty sparse..got two decent ones to go to but limited selection so I tend to buy whatever they stock but Ya I would have like to do the two seater. Make sure to post up the build [smile]

I certainly will Adam.

Just one little thingie, you have to give the main landing gear on the starboard side a little crackie to the forward,
your gears are not exactly simetric.

My two cents.[wink][wink]

Fantastic build !

Paint-job and finish are great. Very nice natural metal finish on the engine panels (third pic. from the top).
