Few bits and bobs the other night. the montage below defines it all.

BTW- I gave a thought to sanding the back of the zip ties down to make them thinner. They are difficult to "shape" as thick as they are. Tried heat gun--disaster even when done very very slowly. Maybe boiling? I am pretty confident that taking some of that thickness down will do the trick. Although I could leave them broken and hanging, I really want the belt to go from supply to the mini-gun.

Great idea to use zip ties as ammo belts mate, and I really like how the mesh looks ( it's very fine ) I will be on the look out for some of that myself.
As I said before I love the business that you have added to this amd it's just crying out to have some paint.

Great stuff Ted

Well )$&(;@!!, sick again beginning this past Friday. Blood in my urine, fever, etc. saw the Dr and he has me on antibiotics. The blood thinner they put me on recently probably caused bleeding. Meds adjusted and I have to ride this out. Took a week the last time. Bummer.

FINALLY, the old MOJO fired up today and I spent some time on the bench. Significant progress IMHO. Battle/corrosion damage to vehicle. Fabrication of "shelter" entrance and first parts of "spider legs". Last--black basing the finished components--simply used flat black rattle can paint. And now, the reason you really came?
THE PICTURES!!! Cheers

Took a stab at making a heavy duty "cargo net".....no storage per se on the vehicle, so the stowage is strapped onto the outside of the vehicle.
