Hello everyone,

Well, when this GB was originally suggested and then started, I didn't have much interest in the subject but I followed the early builds.  After watching those builds take form and the skill and imagination used to create something so obscure out of nothing, my interest started to peak.  I took a trip to my LHS to find a kit that might further spike my interest and I found it.

This GB was my first attempt at creating something beyond the contents of a kit, using my imagination and finding a way to bring it to life as a model/diorama.  Overall I'm happy with the end results but, more so, I'm happy that I took part in the GB and was able to step outside of my modelling comfort zone.

The Kit: Bronco 1/35 German V-1 Fieseler FI 103 RE-4 piloted flying bomb
Meng 1/35 Barricades & Highway Guardrails
             Meng 1/35 Tyres
spare parts from numerous kits laying around the house

diorama base:  foam, picture frame, epoxy resin, static grass, sand, rocks, wood

Paint: Tamiya, Vallejo

And finally the Photos, hope you enjoy........

Tim,
EXCELLENT! the water is perfect thanks to your careful work determining how to achieve the look you wanted. Great imagination and realization of a unique post apocalyptic vehicle and scenario. Nice photographs too! congratulations.
