Nice image of weathering. Interesting seeing the way the oil stays away from the protrusion due to the airflow.

That is interesting Seth. Built a few pieces now, helicopter and soft armour etc. Did research into numerous pictures to
see what happens in the harsh conditions there. Found the sand performs very much differently to the oil in the picture
you have shown.

The sand tends to congregate and stick on the back edge and under protrusions. Both on helicopters and vehicles. On rivets
on the Merlin helicopter, of which they are both sides of seams, the sand adheres to the back edge. Makes effects for this
seriously difficult (for me).

Think it is easy to just assume where grime is but best to put in a lot of research to get it as much right as possible.

I would not fancy, with my skill, trying to emulate those oil streaks.
