yeah that's a lacquer based thinner, that might be doing it. Is the plastic crazed at all?

Fabian, I looked back and saw that you used the Vallejo Clear? If so that may be your prob. I have used it and it takes forever to cure!

I ended up using Mr Color laquer based clear over the top and it dried hard as a rock and no mor prints!

Don't think the issue is with using leveling thinner with the acrylic black. I thin my gunze and tamiya acrylics all the time with no issue using leveling thinner.

If u can source the mr color stuff thin it super heavy with the leveling thinner like 70+ % thinner to clear and u will be ok! Start light and progressively get heavier in your coats. Then when ur done. Fill the airbrush with 100 % leveling thinner and give the whole thing a flash coat. Full trigger and fast passes. And let it dry on its own. Should be ok to touch after 30mins or an hour. Depends on the temp.

Hope this helps!

Dave

Thank you very much for the gloss tip Dave. Very useful! I have a lot to learn about airbrushing but already like it so much more than using hairy sticks ;-)
