Hi guys,

A big reason I signed up because I think the step by step videos are super cool to learn new techniques and get a better feel or modelling.

I am a beginner basically slowly advancing technique and I’d love to follow along with one of the builts.

I watched the Corsair one and thought it as awesome but I am afraid it might be too difficult.

Any recommendations of which one to start out with?

Thanks !

I recently bought the Airfix 1/48 Gloster Meteor F8 with the intention of playing along with Bobby [biggrin] It cost me £27.99 (this was from Time Tunnel Models - it is currently £36.99 on Hannants). I am oin a similar position to you and want to test my basic skills before I try this model. What I have done is bought a relatively low priced kit (Polikarpov I-16 Type 10) from E-Models to 'have a play with', there a load of Eduard Weekend Edition models that are under £15 that would be good to practice on. When it comes to following a step-by-step I would consider following the Spitfire Mk I, the kit only costs £19.99 (for comparison the Tamiya Zero is £109!!!) and it looks like a really nice kit to make.

Best regards
