Shout out to Bob who recently did a video in the Tips & Tricks section on making
model windows using Microscale Industries Inc: Micro Krystal Klear

After I completed the 89 Batmobile diorama and displayed it at the IPMS show
this year, I removed the 89 Batmobile from the base and made several alterations
in preparation to display it on its own. One item I was displeased with was the kit
side widows. They did not fit well and were not good quality [IMHO].

After seeing Bob's video I decided to try making better windows using the
Microscale product. I removed the kit glass and applied the MKK with a toothpick.
It did not take long to get the window area covered.

The result was a truly 'glass' looking window. THANKS BOB!!!

Yup, I tend to use that little trick quite a lot, especially if the windows are small, regardless of if the kit parts fit well or not.

I did not know if it would work for an opening the size of the 89 Batmobile side window, but it did.
